Introduction to COBRA Notices and Communications

COBRA requires employers as well as employees to provide notices in certain circumstances.  For example, employers must notify employees and other qualified beneficiaries of their right to COBRA continuation coverage following termination of employment or another qualifying event.  Employers and employees also have responsibilities to notify their group health plan of qualifying events in certain circumstances, and in the case of other events.  This section covers the following COBRA notices:
