Introduction to Termination Forms

Whether an employee is terminated for misconduct or as part of a reduction in force, the employer must carefully execute and document each step in the termination process in case the employer is later called upon to defend its actions. It is also very important to establish specific procedures for how your company will manage issues related to employee discipline and dismissal, including how the company policy will be communicated to employees.
