Organizing and Sequencing the Interview

The interview should be conducted in a setting with no distractions or interruptions - a private office or conference room is best because it allows the interviewer and the candidate to speak freely. Prior to the interview, study resumes and application forms to become familiar with applicants' backgrounds and identify areas to probe.

The interview should last anywhere from 30 minutes to an hour and should be organized around four areas:
